Dr. Ingrid Isakov is a dual board-certified Internist and Geriatrics specialist. Dr. Ingrid Isakov was born in South Africa and graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1983. She also attended this university for postgraduate obtaining a degree in Emergency Medicine in 1993. Family Medicine Residency was spent at Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. She continued to her Internal Medicine Residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, OH. After residency her fellowship in Geriatrics was held at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Isakov’s primary specialty is Internal Medicine and she holds a secondary specialty in Geriatrics. She has held many memberships during her career including; American Academy of Family Practice, South Carolina Academy of Family Practice, and South Carolina Medical Association. Outside of providing outstanding patient care, she enjoys going to the gym, reading, and bike riding.
