In loving memory of Dr. Marshall L. Meadors, III who was a founding partner of Primary Care Associates. His indelible impact on both healthcare and community service will forever be remembered. Dr. Meadors’, unwavering commitment to the well-being of others, played a pivotal role in shaping the fabric of our community. Beyond the walls of Primary Care Associates, Dr. Meadors was a dedicated member of the Foothills Community Foundation: To Better Anderson, where he actively contributed to the establishment of the first Anderson Dog Park. His passion for community development also led him to serve on the Board of Directors of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce from 2001 to 2007, where his insights and leadership left their mark. A true advocate for progress, Dr. Meadors was a proud member of the Leadership Anderson Class of XVIII in 2002, demonstrating his commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders. His tenure as a board member for Upstate Forever from 2010 to 2012 showcased his dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices in the Upstate region.
Dr. Meadors’ philanthropist spirit extended to all corners of our community, as he served on the Board of Directors for Anderson Interfaith Ministries from 1993 to 1995, leaving an impact on those in need. His involvement with the Anderson Arts Center further highlighted his appreciation for the arts as a vital aspect of community enrichment.
Two other organizations that held a special place in Dr. Meadors’ heart were South Main Chapel and Mercy Center, where he found solace and meaning, and the Cancer Association of Anderson, reflecting his empathy and support for those facing the challenges of cancer.

Dr. Marshall Meadors, III was born in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Wofford College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1979. He obtained his Medical Degree at The Medical University of South Carolina. His residency was spent at AnMed Health Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. Dr. Meador’s primary specialty is Family Medicine. He holds professional certificates through American Board of Family Practice, American Medical Directors Certification Program, and American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Meadors continues to hold a Medical Directorship with the National Healthcare of Anderson. Dr. Meadors has been a part of several boards and committees including; Anderson Interfaith Ministries 1992-1996, Anderson Family Counseling Center 1992-1994, Anderson County Arts Center 1998-2002, DocLink Steering Committee 1999-2001, AnMed Health 2000-2003, Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce 2001-present, Director, Community Enrichment Council 2002-present, and South Carolina Medical Association Rural District 4 Trustee 2002-present.
